Convert Instruction and The Preparation for the Celebration of RCIA


This is a course of instruction for adults who have already been baptised in another Christian Church not in communion with the Catholic Church. If you would like to know more about the Catholic Faith you can download the Registration Form below or contact Mgr Harkness at



is a mandatory Liturgical Rite which is required for anyone over the age of seven years who wishes to become a baptised member of the Catholic Church who has not already been baptised. The instruction leading to this Liturgical Rite is covered in either the Journey in Faith course for adults or by private instruction with one of our catechists.

Classes will be on Sunday evenings from 6:30 pm – 7:15 pm beginning on 22nd November, 2015.

Dates of the remaining classes are as follows: 29th November 2015 13th December 2015, 10th January 2016, 17 January 2016, 17th January, 2016, 24th January 2016, 31st January 2016, 7th February 2016, (the afternoon of 14th February 2016 we go to the Cathedral Church of St John the Baptist in Norwich for the Rite of Election at 4:00 pm with your Sponsor, where you will be received by the Bishop and your names will be entered into the Book of Life), 21st February 2016, 28th February, 2016, 6th March, 2016 then a break until 20th March, 2016 and finally on Saturday 26th March 2016 when you will be baptised, confirmed and receive the Most Holy Eucharist for the first time at 10:00 pm during the Easter Vigil.
